Cut please
I have never really minded being a sort of liberal-orthodox South Indian Brahmin. No, really. But there are times when things can get very messy to say the least. For example, consider what all I need to consider to get my hair cut.
I cannot get my hair cut on Fridays and Saturdays. Tuesdays, generally barbers don't work. The day of the week on which I was born is a strict no no. Birthdays, I don't need to say anything about. Then you have the full moon and the new moon. 11th and 12th day from a Full Moon or a New Moon. About 50 festivals in a given year. That rules about 337.45 days a year. All these are, um, fine. But then there is also a rule that from a house, only one person can get a hair cut per day. That means, if my brother goes to get his hair cut, neither me nor my dad can get our hair cut.
Oh look. I can cut my hair in November. You better not interfere.

very much true... but being away from home has solved the problem to some extent for me...
Dude you can't hog the whole of November, what am I supposed to do? I think 16th is the one day you can go, no wait... its a Sunday, the day of the week you were born!! Ah well ;)
hey, Did I tell you I just got a hair cut the day before ? This is the shortest I've ever had, and I am loving it :) :P :P
(P.s : Sikhs are not supposed to cut their hair )
